Process / Technology

Digital Leader(ship)
The Digital Leader(ship) category recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to digital publishing, for example by successfully implementing an excellent change management program within their company as part of the digital transformation. Or by using excellent analysis to level the digital playing field for the entire publishing industry.

Introduced in 2023, this category recognizes special ideas concerning sustainability – initiatives from both large and small companies that are as diverse as possible. The focus of the Sustainability Award:
SDG17: The projects and initiatives submitted should cover several of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by heads of state and governments under the umbrella of the United Nations in 2015.
Projects competing for this category should have a digital reference, i.e. occupy an interface between digitality and sustainability. Examples of such projects would be a carbon dioxide calculator for the industry, a decentralized digital printing network, innovative digital learning methods or an accessibility checker – and many more.
